BLONDES IN THE JUNGLE
New art-film/comedy by Ball Deep International. On a hunt for the Fountain of Youth, three teenagers in 1980’s Honduras buy drugs, harm nature and have magical encounters. Tons of landscape footage, a meditation on Mayan Archaeology and a heavy TV teen vibe highlight this impulse-buy spiritual adventure.
Original soundtrack by 1987 World Beat band El Jefe and The Executive Look, featuring contributions by members of Aa, Asobi Seksu, Birthday Boyz, Vampire Weekend and Julianna Barwick.
Directed by Lev Kalman and Whitney Horn. Starring Chino Ward, Coogan Martin, Travis Nutting, Trevor Hoff, Andre Frechette III and Ingrid Schram. 2009, 16mm, Color, 50 min.

Playlist Necessary?
Been meaning to post this - it’s a swirly-alternative mix I played at a rooftop party this day last month and on WHFR a few weeks ago. I like it I mean it’s sorta an exercise in obviousness, which I’m really into these days.
Lev Leviev: e-LEV-ate Me Later
When I think of the 5 or 6 people that would enjoy this mix most, it’s the same people that check this blog regularly. So if you’re reading this and it’s May, this is literally for you.
Oh and it’s also dedicated to the Lakers who either win easily or make an embarrassing mess.
