“Blondes in the Jungle and Friends” - An every kinda party, September 18th
Very excited to finally announce the overwhelmingly nice details of next Friday, September 18th’s screening of “Blondes in the Jungle and Friends,“ a program named so because not only are all the contributors friends, but also because their videos and films are v friendly with the movie - in terms of thematics, looks, feelings, vibes, moments, moods, etc.
Info below, soon to be linked out.
Too much!

Going Chicago, Going Underground
I can’t even tell you how siked we are to have the Blondes festival premiere at the Chicago Underground Film Festival. I mean, just check this trailer!!
Here’s the flyer for the program we’re in. We made it so it emphasizes us, but seriously everybody in this program but us is a heavyweight video-artist or filmmaker in the best kinda way. Duh, but “Coconuts and Cocaine” is the show I’m most siked about at CUFF.

P.S. The CUFF website has a review section. If you’ve seen the film already and can post a line or two of thoughts, please do. Nobody out there has any idea what to expect!
Bug Off! to the Sounds of Blondes
To our honor and proudness, Pitchfork has recently Forkcasted two tracks from the soundtrack of Blondes in the Jungle.
Yo! DL the “The Fountain” and “Blair” and ENJOY!
Below: the label design for Bug-Off, the bug spray from the movie. Doesn’t it look like a Ska LP?
Yeah it’s Synchronicity, but don’t call the Police!
Please compare/contrast Family JazZ, the ‘mazing short by friends Brendan and Mike, with Halloween Face: Episode 5, by me and Whit…
I know. CRAZILY, B + M had never seen Halloween Face when they conceived this! It wasn’t till Libby showed up to shoot that she was like, “You guys know I’ve played a teen in the future before?” I don’t know quite what it is about Libby that suggests lite-dystopia family drama, but I could see like 10 more of these.

THOUGHT: A couple years out now, I’m pretty proud of the Halloween Face project. Like a lot of TV shows it takes a couple eps to hit its stride, and the finale’s inevitably a bit of a let down - but those middle episodes are fucking solid.
Hottest shorts of the summer!

Attention all of you in the greater Massachusetts/Infinite Jest area: go check out the Giant Sale show at APE Gallery β for a number of reasons, but like one for example is the DVD of our short films now for sales for $5! Here’s the covers. The letter on the front is I think the best explanation of ourselves we’ve written:

Here’s the O, Nurse! trailer (btw, Happy Bastille day! O, Nurse! takes place 6 years ago today)
