  2. It was. Y’know how “Wet Hot American Summer” makes crazy/absurd fun of itself but still IS a really good camp movie? The Baxter does the same with Gen-X-urban-romantic-comedies.

  3. I mean (and this reference may or may not help) — if “Wet Hot American Summer” was more like old Stella, “The Baxter” is definitely more like Comedy Central Stella — which I think is pretty hilarious too.
