Back in July when we posted the Fingers 2 Fist video to Antville, we got accused of ripping off the concept and it really bugged us.

I mean, of course we did steal the idea, but not from some Random — from Lev’s friend Suz!

So this time we’re letting ya know: We stole Manshake from Truffaut’s Wild Child. Pretty much the whole thing. We also stole these concepts from actual history:

Feral Children / Wolf Children
John James Audubon
The Cos Cob School of Painters

And for future reference, 95% of our movies are ripped off from either Stella, Rohmer, or the enormous amount of TV we watch.

When our buddy Thurston told us Aa (big A little A) makes “the kindsa sounds that young people should be making,” we knew they’d be big-time heatmakers in THE NEW YORK ART SCENE…
